Agenda 77
Agenda 77 is a citizen-led movement built around one simple idea: our Kenya, our agenda. We organise ordinary Kenyans to demand accountable leadership and the prudent use of public resources — starting with the remuneration of the people we elect.
Our vision
A Kenya that serves its people
We see a country where public office is measured by what it delivers, not by what it pays. Where a citizen can look at a public budget and understand it. Where the cost of leadership is proportionate to the means of the people who fund it.
Agenda 77 exists to turn that expectation into organised, documented and lawful citizen pressure. The movement's identity — the geometric 77 mark and the line "One Kenya. One Agenda." — belongs to every Kenyan who signs, collects and shares.
Our mission
Organise, explain, petition
Organise. Recruit and support volunteer collectors in every county, constituency and ward.
Explain. Break down the real cost of parliamentary remuneration in a way anyone can understand in seconds.
Petition. Deliver a verified, handwritten citizens' petition to Parliament asking for fair and sustainable remuneration.

Our values
Accountability
Public resources belong to the public. Every allowance, reimbursement and facility must be justified openly.
Service
Leadership is service. Office should never be the fastest route to personal wealth.
Youth empowerment
Young Kenyans are the majority. The movement is built to be led, organised and carried by them.
Constitutionalism
We work through lawful, constitutional channels — the petition to Parliament is our first instrument.
Prudence
Sustainable public spending means money is available for development where citizens actually live.
Unity
This is not a regional, ethnic or party campaign. It is a national one: our Kenya, our agenda.

Fair public remuneration
Rationalise the remuneration and benefits of Members of Parliament, Senators and Women Representatives so that pay is fair to the office holder and fair to the taxpayer.

Transparency of allowances
Publish, in plain language, every allowance, sitting fee, reimbursement, loan facility and medical benefit attached to public office.

Development first
Redirect savings from excessive packages towards education, healthcare, water and job creation in constituencies.

Youth participation
Build a nationwide network of young organisers and collectors who can hold leaders to account between elections.

Civic literacy
Make public finance understandable — visual explainers instead of buried spreadsheets and technical reports.
